Founded in 1992, David Hill and Company, LLC has provided control system design, development, training and commissioning services to clients across a wide spectrum - from Fortune 5 companies on three continents to a solitary kinetic sculpture artist in his Connecticut woodland studio.

We are also a founding sponsor and technical consultant to the National Guitar Museum.

We have worked on design / build projects around the world; from electrical power generating station control rooms in Taiwan to ship-based, coal transfer terminals in Columbia, South America. We are particularly experienced with Tridium/Niagara AX & Niagara/4 systems, and have installed and/or commissioned dozens of systems in and around the Mid Atlantic & New England states. Recently we worked at Facebook’s data center near the Arctic Circle in Luleå, Sweden.


We are factory authorized Systems Integrators for FieldServer protocol conversion products.


We have managed custom code development using JAVA, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), embedded BASIC, various HTML / XML tools and proprietary graphics software; and we are considered an authority on communication / network connectivity (e.g. OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP, SMTP, RS-485, Metasys N2, LON, BACnet and ASCII).


HVAC system logic, communications and graphical interface programming for facilities throughout the Northeast – including the United Nations campus, the Empire State Building, Lincoln Center, numerous datacenters (Amazon, Verizon, Facebook), and a wide variety of office buildings, schools, universities, museums, libraries, hospitals and municipal buildings.
